Shipping, Delivery, and Returned Shipments Policy – Al-Wafai Lighting Systems Company
1. Order Shipping and Delivery
- Delivery Coverage: Al-Wafai Lighting Systems Company delivers lighting units to all governorates and projects within the Arab Republic of Egypt, or as otherwise agreed in advance in quotations for large projects.
- Delivery Time: Delivery time varies according to the type of product. Ready-made products available in stock are shipped within 3 to 7 business days, while products manufactured to special specifications are shipped on a date determined by the production schedule agreed upon in the purchase order.
- Inspection of the Shipment upon Receipt: Given the delicate nature of lighting units (such as glass, lenses, and crystal), the buyer or the site engineer must visually inspect the shipment in the presence of the shipping representative or driver. If any breakage or damage resulting from transportation is found, it must be recorded immediately on the delivery document and we must be notified within 24 hours.
2. Conditions for Returning Products by Shipping
- Approved Return Address: To return products in accordance with the Returns Policy (within 14 days), the customer must send or ship the products exclusively to one of our official showrooms, after prior coordination with customer service.
- Responsibility for Shipping Costs: The buyer is the first and sole party responsible for paying the shipping and transportation costs of returning goods.
- Non-Refundable Shipping Costs: The original shipping costs (paid to deliver the order the first time) are non-refundable under any circumstances. If the return shipment was arranged by us, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Protection of Products During Shipping: It is strongly recommended to use an insured shipping service or a tracking service when returning high-value goods, as Al-Wafai Lighting Systems Company does not guarantee the arrival of returned products via external shipping companies and is not responsible for any damage to them during the return journey.
3. Products Excluded from Shipping and Returns
Please note that products and orders manufactured to special specifications for projects (Custom Products) are not subject to the reverse shipping or return option, and their sales are considered final upon technical receipt at the site.
